Julianne + Kyle | Cape Henlopen Beach | Sunrise Engagement
Kyle proposed to Julianne at Penny Lane Mall at Rehoboth Beach in Delaware. Both Kyle’s family and Julianne’s family had vacation homes at the beach when they were children. However, Kyle did not meet Julianne until he was an adult at a friends house. As we chatted, we all wondered how many times they may have passed each other on the boardwalk or at Funland during summer vacations as children. It seemed only fitting that we captured their engagement session at the place that holds the sweetest of memories on the beach at sunrise in Rehoboth. Sadly, Funland was closed but we found some other great stops!
We met early and adventured out to some of Julianne’s and Kyle’s favorite local spots (including where Kyle proposed) It was fun to hear the stories and the memories that each one held for these two. We then made our way to Cape Henlopen State Park to hunt for sea glass (which we found!) and enjoy the views of the lighthouse and ships.
These two, and this session were so worth getting up at 5 AM for. I loved our morning together and look forward to their beautiful wedding day next year!
