Jeana + Calvin | Engagement Session | Lancaster City
We spent a windy Saturday afternoon together in October to capture engagement photos for Jeana and Calvin. With winds at 25 mph, we chose to stay in Lancaster City for the majority of our time together. Lancaster Sweet Shoppe on Duke Street in Lancaster City welcomed us warmly and allowed us to capture some of their fun images in the adorable shop.
Jeana and Calvin met in 2012 at the beach in Delaware but did not begin dating until 2013. Jeana told me that she realized how much she loved Calvin when she realized how persistent he was at pursuing her. He courted her like an old fashioned romance, with flowers, love notes, gifts and great amounts of time and attention. They will both tell you that their favorite thing to do is simply, spending quality time together!
They were engaged, May 28th of this year at a beach close to where they met. She thought she was going to surprise him on his birthday with a sweet trip away but he had much bigger plans that involved, candles, a sunset, words of affirmation and a gorgeous rose gold diamond ring. She, of course, said YES! The love between these two is priceless. Just being around them, it is clear how much respect and joy they have for each other. I look forward to their Springtime 2017 wedding.
