Katie + Luke - Getttysburg College Love Story
Katie and Luke were married on August 13, 2016, at the same place where they first met, Gettysburg College. The campus and chapel served as a beautiful backdrop to their elegant and formal day. The ladies began their day at Federal Pointe Inn, In Gettysburg. As we began our photo time together, rain drops fell long enough to delay our time to take pictures so the owners welcomed us into their spectacular home located inside the Inn for photos. The backdrop was gorgeous and made for some fun memories for Katie and her attendants. Katie was driven to the College Chapel in a vintage Cadillac where the wedding ceremony was held. Although it was one of the hottest days of the year, nothing was going to put a damper on their wedding day.
The reception was held at Pheasant Field Bed and Breakfast in Carlisle. This warm and inviting reception venue with its spectacular sunset views and colorfully landscaped grounds was a perfect location for Katie and Luke to celebrate, sing, laugh and dance the night away. Every detail was taken care of down to the flowers by Juniper and Lavender, the Feasting table of Italian foods, desserts and the surprise serenade by Luke to his bride. This was fun filled evening of celebration not to be forgotten.
