Cassandra and Phillip | Bookstore Engagement | Wedding Photographer

A beautiful waitress and a love-struck customer… Phillip noticed Cassandra two years ago at a restaurant in York.  He bravely left his waitress (Cassandra) a tip and a note on the receipt with his number to text him.  After two days of waiting patiently, Phillip finally heard back from Cassandra.   This is where their love story begins… 

Fast forward to December of 2015, Phillip took Cassandra to a beautiful dinner in Harrisburg and then off to one of their favorite place, Midtown Scholar Bookstore.  

 In one of the lower levels, in a private corner, Phillip asked Cassandra to be his wife that December evening.  She said, “YES”!

Midtown Scholar is an amazing bookstore that goes on and on for what seems like forever.  It has a number of floors and a quaint little coffee shop in the front.  The store is a converted theater and is the most fun of locations for a reading lovers date night

  Midtown Scholar Bookstore was very accommodating and allowed us access to it’s beauty for an engagement session in early January.  Phillip and Cassandra surrounded themselves with their favorite books and we captured their love for each other.

I look forward to early summer when these two will be married at a very unique and beautiful location in Manheim.
