Angela + Jeremy | Landis Valley Museum, Lancaster | Wedding
Sometimes writing the description of a wedding to share on my blog is easy and the words flow freely. This is one of those special days. There is so much to say.
Angela and Jeremy's wedding day was a sunny and warm summer day that began with getting ready at Eden Resort and then we moved to first look followed by ceremony and reception at the beautiful Landis Valley Museum in Lancaster. Days of rain in the week before the wedding had many roads leading to Landis Valley closed due to flooding but the sun was shining brightly on the day of their vows!
This wedding had one of the most tender and emotion-filled first looks I have ever seen. I love first looks for many reasons but probably the one I never mention is that it allows me to get all of my tears out before the ceremony as well. Yes, tears are often on my cheeks and they were for sure this day. Jeremy took once glance at his beautiful bride and the tears flowed. It was pure magic and a moment that I will forever cherish being part of. The private moments of a first look are some of the best moments on a wedding day. It is pure, raw emotion for a bride and groom with a little with of nerves sprinkled in.
After their precious first look, we moved onto a portrait time and eventually to the ceremony. With the sun shining down, these two had a beautiful wedding ceremony followed in the barn with dancing and great food! A glow stick exit ended the evening as Angela drove off with Jeremy on his beloved John Deere tractor. She had practiced and practiced so their exit could be flawless and it was.. just like the rest of their beautiful day.
Thanks, Angela and Jeremy for allowing me to be part of your special day!
