The Barn at Stoneybrooke | Brooke + Sam | Lancaster Wedding
The Barn at Stoneybrooke will always be a favorite venue of mine, as the grounds always leave me speechless. The Summer florals were in full bloom for Brooke and Sam’s Summer wedding in August. Brooke and Sam included so many personal and family touches and made this day both individual and meaningful. A new tradition that I love is the Warming of the Rings. The wedding rings were passed to all the family members and the bridal party. Upon receiving the rings, guests “warm” them up with a prayer, good wishes, or positive intentions for the couple's future together before passing them on to the next person.
Another extraordinary moment was the honoring and remembrance of Brittany, Brooke's sister. Each family and bridal party member carried a single yellow rose and laid it at the front of the ceremony site. Brooke later put on Brittany's sneakers, which hold pins that reflect some of her travels with these special shoes.
Although rain was forecast for the entire day, the rain passed, and the guests enjoyed the grounds outdoors.
Brooke and her Dad surprised the guests with a very special Father/Daughter dance!
The guests partied the night away and danced to amazing music by Santana Entertainment!
