Jackie and Nate | Brick Gables PA | Mini-Monie (Micro ceremony)
Only two weeks before their scheduled Spring 2020 wedding, things in PA were shut down due to COVID, and therefore Jackie and Nate had to make some hard choices. Their first choice - they decided to get married in an intimate ceremony on their scheduled date and have a celebration with family and friends in September. Things didn’t open up as planned and they had to make some additional hard choices and scale back their list of who they could invite. Never once did I hear Jackie complain about how her day had to be modified to meet all the safety standards that are currently being required.
Surrounded by their bridal party and a few family members, Jackie and Nate said their vows once again to each other in the beautiful Brick Gables in Lititz on Saturday. They did a first look that was as special as the day Nate first saw his bride. We then were able to sneak away to a beautiful private residence in Lititz for their portrait time.
Although the guest count was small, this did not affect the dance party that they had or the joy and laughter that was in the room as they celebrated. I call these mini-monies (mini-ceremonies) but the special touches and the love that is put into these intimate celebrations are as big as any large wedding day!
