I can’t think of another word that better describes Elizabeth and also this describes her wedding day. This is a wedding day that will no soon be forgotten.
I captured Elizabeth and Warren’s engagement session at Gettysburg College where they both met. During the engagement session, the rain clouds opened I captured their sweet session with umbrellas and drenching rain. When the forecast called for rain at home but for clear skies at Liberty Mountain Resort in Fairfield Pa I was thrilled. Once we arrived, it was clear the forecast was not accurate as rain fell for hours. About 30 minutes before the outdoor ceremony was to begin, the sky not only stopped raining but the sun came out. Liz and Warren were married under sunny skies and it was spectacular!! About an hour after we finished our last portrait outside, the sky once again became dark and the rain began to fall for the remainder of the evening.
Ski Liberty Resort, Highland Lodge, was a beautiful backdrop and location for this elegant ceremony/celebration. Liz chose a beautiful dress from Kleinfeld in New York that I am convinced was made exclusively for her. Every detail of the dress fit her personality and taste to absolute perfection. No details were missed, from the elegant Kate Spade invitations to her Blue Diamond from Finch Jewelers. This was a spectacular engagement ring that Warren had custom designed for his bride.
These two ADORE each other and it was so evident every moment they were together! It was an honor to be part of this celebration.
