With the sun shining down making it feel like more like a summer day than Autumn, Julie and Ben said their beautifully written vows to each other in the meadow before family and friends at Historic Rockford Plantation. Both bride and groom live in Florida with roots to Lancaster County.
Julie and Ben are both lovers of craft beer so of course, it was fitting that their ceremony would have a "hops" theme from beginning to end. The ceremony included a unity beer which was the blending of both of their favorites brews to make one. The individual beers were Hop Hands by Tired Hands Brewing and G&T Gose by Anderson Ale. The results were perfect!
The reception that followed featured amazing food and hors-d'oeuvres by Simply From Scratch Catering. Ben's brother-in-law used his skills and smoked meats for the reception.
Julie and Ben celebrated with tributes to their alma mater which is where they both met and fell in love, Bloomsburg College. Each table was decorated with some of the details the many travel destinations and breweries that both Julie and Ben have traveled to.
One of the highlights of the evening was the arrival of the Vintage Good Humor Truck. The Good Humor man delivered every ice cream with a smile and entertained all the guests with his charm.
The couple danced and celebrated the night away with their college friends and family. The day was filled with personal touches as well as so much love and joy!
