When we planned Lydia and Ben's engagement session, we had no idea it was a scheduled Music in the Park evening with bands, food trucks and hundreds of guests. With weather temperatures perfect and the sun glowing, we decided to take a chance. Oh was it the right choice. The band played away and it felt like background music created just for us. We were able to work around the crowds and had a beautiful evening.
Lydia and Ben met the summer of 2011 while in high school. They dated on and off again for the next year. They remained friends as they headed off to sperate colleges. After a few failed attempts at dating, Lydia knew that no one compared to Ben. Not only was he a treasured friend to her, she realized she had fallen for him. It took three years for them to be reunited and begin dating again. Lydia describes those years as filled with tears, waiting and praying for Ben to come back into her life. Summer of 2015 Lydia Ben was back in Lydia's life. They realized immediately, they were meant for each other!
Ben proposed at the sweetest place on earth... Hershey Park at the top of the Ferris Wheel during Christmas Candy Lane last year. As they exited the ride, Lydia realized that all of their families were at the bottom cheering and celebrating the moment with Lydia and Ben!!
I look forward to their fall wedding later this year!
