I met Ian years ago through Fireside Tavern in Strasburg. (one of my favorite restaurants - with the best owners!) It has been the sweetest journey to watch Ian meet Jaclyn, date her, and I was even part of their sweet proposal! You can see those pictures here - Ian’s Sweet Surprise Proposal
Jaclyn’s parents are also patrons of Fireside and when they got to know Ian, and along with some of their other friends, felt Ian and Jaclyn should meet each other. Jaclyn politely passed … fast forward a year later, Jaclyn met Ian at her parent’s bowling league of all things and realized that she needed to get to know this amazing guy. She even texted him several hours later to apologize for not reaching out a year before to meet him for a drink.

Jaclyn allowed me to choose the location of their engagement session. Marian Coffin Gardens in Gibraltar was a secret garden I have wanted to visit. The gardens did NOT disappoint. We had them to ourselves and captured some sweet moments of these two!
I look forward to the wedding day for these two later this year at The Star Barn - which is going to be amazing! The way these two look at each other will - well it’s pure joy!!
