Blaine + Ashley | Pinnacle Overlook | Surprise Proposal
When Blaine contacted me and asked if I would capture his surprise proposal to Ashley I could not say yes fast enough. I LOVE to capture proposals but when you know the people proposing, the nerves go through the roof. I was part of the “story” to get Ashly and her sister Katie to the Overlook for their “sister” photoshoot. The weather forecast was not a good one but we had a break of rain for 90 minutes which was the exact time we had planned for the surprise.
I took Ashley and Katie to the overlook and to the big rock area that we planned for the proposal. We photographed for a bit but eventually found a different location for Blaine to surprise us all! After doing a few headshots for the girls - Blaine and his sweet pup - Esme 🐕 made their way towards us and SURPRISED Ashley!!
Ashley is not an easy one to surprise and we had to create SO MANY stories to pull this one off! Blaine did a great job with his planning and she was thrilled! The bling that Blaine gave Ashley is AMAZING! We were able to capture some sweet moments before the rain moved! Ashley’s parents along with Blaine’s parents and sister were an additional surprise as they came walking towards us during our little engagement photo time!
What a beautiful evening it was - and so thankful for the break-in rain that we could make this moment happen!
