Sarah and Mark were to have their special day last March but due to Covid, they had to move their date to July of last year…. well, July 23, 2021, they had their special day!! This was the first of many weddings that I had to reschedule last year, and when Sarah had to make the hard decision to do it again, my heart sank. I could only imagine what it would feel like as a bride to have my dreams put on hold. Sarah was the picture of Grace through the entire process. When I began the detail photos on the wedding day, and Sarah handed me her “invitation suite”, I smiled ear to ear when I saw they choose a “new date” card to send their guests that said, “Love Was Extra Patient This Year”. I could not imagine a better quote to explain the process this Bride and Groom have been through.
We started the day by getting ready at a Sweet Air BNB in the City. Riverdale Manor was a beautiful setting for this summer wedding and reception! Sarah and Mark live in the Philadelphia area and Lancaster was a destination wedding for the families. The weather was absolute Perfection and their day went off perfectly! Sweet redemption for all they have been through!
