Laura and Arley had the most perfect wedding day at The Manor at Prophecy Creek in Ambler Pa. While the ceremony was to be held outside, with the weather forecast changing the decision was made to bring the ceremony indoors. We headed outside to capture the first look and bride and groom portraits. The first look was one of the most meaningful and emotional ones I have ever photographed. Arley is from Brazil and spoke his personal vows to Laura in English. Laura surprised Arley and had learned her personal vows in Portuguese and the moment was priceless.
We then captured a few portraits of them together when the rain clouds opened and the gazebo served as cover for over 10 minutes while we formulated a plan to get Laura and Arley back inside the ceremony site. While this was not a perfect situation, this was one that won’t soon be forgotten!
In front of family and friends (some of who came from Brazil for this special day) Laura and Arley became husband and wife. The ceremony was translated into English and it was beautiful!
