Janae + Scott | Wranglers + Stetsons + LOVE | Wedding
It was a beautiful Sunday in May and while many people had picnics and Memorial Day celebrations in mind, love was in the air at Southview Farms in Lancaster County.
This wedding was so rich with family heritage, in details and love that it's hard to capture it all in words. Southview Farm has been in the Herr family since 1761 as a working dairy and chicken farm. Janae, the fourth generation, has always had a very dear love for the farm on which she spent many years of her life and knew it was where her wedding day ceremony would take place. She chose the "Back 40" to hold the ceremony. The views are simply breathtaking as they overlook Southern Lancaster County.
I always love a first look but when you get to have two it's an extra special day! Janae and her Dad had a first look in the stairwell of the Farmhouse and it was so touching to witness. We then held the first look of Scott and Janae in an old Tobacco Barn which made for some beautiful images as Scott saw his bride for the first time!
From the Vintage Red Truck that the bride and bridesmaids rode to the ceremony in, to the sunflowers, Stetson boots, and overflowing reception details, this wedding was perfect in so many ways. The bride even wore flowers in her hair that were from the bridal gown of her namesake Great Grandmother Catherine Herr. No details were overlooked.
After a beautiful ceremony, guests a wonderful meal by Country Home Catering, homemade Cherry Pie by Scott's Grandma as well as other sweet desserts which were made with love for the couple.
Guests danced the night away as Janae and her love took off into the dark to begin their new lives together as the McMichaels.
