Sunday evening I got to spend time with Josie and Nick at Fort Hunter Mansion in Harrisburg. I had not been to this location before but it was amazing. The cherry blossoms and redbud were in full bloom and made for the most beautiful backdrop for this special engagement!
Josie and Nick met in college at a Joke Telling Competition. Josie’s team sadly lost, however she met the man of her dreams. To know these two and to know how competitive they are, I can only imagine what that first meeting must have been like!
Fast forward to the fall and Nick proposed to Josie in the Hamptons at sunset while taking a break from a board game. Nick had the engagement ring for six months which is a record amount of time!
I have had the honor of knowing Josie for a number of years as she and her family are dear friends. Watching this sweet romance blossom has been such a delight! They are adorable together and both two of the most athletic people I know (Nick is a National Soccer Champion) so it seemed having them run toward me like I often do at a session was a great idea. Well, the camera struggled to keep up with the speed they decided to run! No surprise!
I can’t wait for their special day in December - they are an absolute delight!
