Jeana + Calvin | Wedding | Lancaster PA
Jeana + Calvin | Lancaster County Wedding | Private Residence
To say that the 2017 Wedding Season is off to a bang would be an understatement! Jeana and Calvin were married on a beautiful Friday evening in May, at a private residence in New Holland, PA.
Both Jeana and Calvin worked many hours to prepare grounds for the big wedding day and planned every last detail to make it a day their guests would not soon forget! Both Jeana and Calvin are from larger sized families so for each to have 10 attendants and four flower girls was not a surprise. 26 people is a big bridal party but the joy among them all was priceless. The laughter, pranks and jokes amongst all of the bridal party made the day perfect. During the ceremony, the groomsmen "lost" the ring which made for some fun moments and entertaining photos.
Jeana works for Keller Auctioneers and as a surprise to the guests, the high bidder could win the first dance with Jeana and also with Calvin. The Groomsmen went together and won the dance with the beautiful bride. Calvin's precious Grandmother won the dance with him. This was the highlight of the day. Calvin's Grandmother slow danced and then turned to the DJ and requested faster music and they cut the rug even more. She was beyond delighted to dance with her Grandson and all in attendance enjoyed the moment. She laughed and laughed as she exited the dance floor. She would return later in the evening to giggle and dance some more!
Jeana was a the most relaxed bride good sport throughout the day. She was willing to brave getting into a canoe with her groom, something most would not want to try in a bridal gown. She also braved a group photo with her siblings (I will let the photos tell the story). She smiled and we continued on with a little bit of mud on the bridal gown. Both Calvin and Jeana clearly understood that the day is about the love they share the promises they made to each other. They never lost site of the meaning of the day.
This will be a wedding that will not soon be forgotten. All the best to you both Jeana and Calvin. Enjoy some of the images from their very special ceremony.
