Kelsey + Joey | Coleman Chapel, Lebanon | Wedding
Kelsey and Joey were married Saturday at a chapel in Lebanon Pa. Coleman Chapel is a wedding venue that features a chapel that has been converted to be a multi-function venue. It is quaint and was a perfect backdrop for the exchanging of vows for Kelsey and Joey.
Kelsey's Father passed away seven years ago and she chose to walk herself down the aisle and honor her father's memory by lighting of a candle before the ceremony began. The courage that it took was remarkable. Kelsey's father had dreamed of walking his little girl down the aisle and his sweet presence was not lost in this service. Kelsey's Mother Kelly carried a sweet-heart bouquet with a charm on it in his memory. At the reception, he was again remembered by the playing of the song that was to be their first dance. Kelsey did a beautiful job of honoring her father throughout the day.
Both Kelsey and Joey picked groomsmen and bridesmaids that had fun and knew how to laugh. Getting the groom and his groomsmen to stand serious for a photo, as you will see, was a challenge. A challenge in the best way. Wedding days are a day to celebrate and these two did just that.
Following the ceremony we captured our bride and groom portraits at Coleman Memorial Park. We were able to enjoy sunshine and beautiful warm temperatures just moments before the clouds rolled in and rain began to fall. We found a beautiful Magnolia tree and were able to spend some quiet moments together before heading back to the reception.
The wedding guests were served a Bruch style meal at the reception which was decorated with amazing details. Kelsey poured herself into making every details of this wedding perfect. At the time of cutting the cake, Kelsey and Joe also honored Kelsey's grandparents who were also celebrating their 55th wedding anniversary. They were invited to share in cake cutting. This was a beautiful celebration of their anniversary as well.
