Shira + Tukker | Quarryville Pa | Wedding
With the sun shining and the winds settled, Shira and Tukker were united in marriage on the family's spectacular property. The tree-lined property on a hill in Southern Lancaster County with the most beautiful sunsets was the perfect backdrop for this special day. The ceremony took place under a spectacular archway created and built by Tukker covered with amazing florals.
I have had the privilege of knowing this sweet bride since she was a baby and watching her grow into the compassionate, lovely woman that she is today made these nuptials even more meaningful. I met Tukker at their engagement session on a snowy winter day in January. It is clear in Tukker's eyes that he adores his bride. Tukker and Shira met years ago while they were the flower girl and ring bearer in a wedding together. It was only after working together at Young LIfe that they realized they had been in the wedding together years prior.
The nuptials were creative and personal. Both Shira and Tukker wanted guests to feel like they were attending a beautiful church service with a wedding at the end. Both bride and groom stood with their families until after a time of worship and celebration at which time Shira's parents gave her away to her groom.
The couple celebrated with amazing food by SEI Catering, yard games and danced under the stars with family and friends till they exited with a wonderful sparkler send off. Personal touches were evident throughout the day.
