I love to capture fun, relaxed family photos in beautiful light! These moments are the memories we will treasure. Things don’t have to be perfect for us to have an amazing family session! Don’t stress, come and be prepared to have fun! I love candid, authentic moments that tell your family's story!
My approach to Family Sessions
I believe natural light from the sun and its reflections create photographs that feel fresh, timeless, and most true to life!
Whether you want a session outdoors or in the comfort of your own home, utilizing natural light and our surroundings helps our subjects stay comfortable in front of the camera. I typically start off by posing your family for the perfect portrait and as I guide you through candids I will also be photographing the moments as they unfold naturally. I am happy to capture different breakdowns between family members are also covered. I love to create a simple portrait list prior to each session so we don’t miss any important family combinations. This a fun experience for everyone and I help make it easy by being silly, making the kiddos giggle, and making things move along swiftly.
Booking
Outdoor sessions are scheduled within the last two hours of daylight (golden hour), depending on the location. Upon booking, you will receive a Style Guide to ensure you get the most out of your session and look your absolute best. You’re also encouraged to send us photos of outfit choices if you’re having trouble! I will be in touch a few days before your session should the weather look questionable and plan accordingly. Natural lighting and the beautiful sun will help create images you will love!
Delivery
Your images will be presented in a password-protected online gallery no later than two weeks after your session. All images will be color corrected and retouched naturally, if necessary. You will be able to download your high-resolution images via your gallery, as well as purchase prints and other photographic products if you wish. Every session includes a print release that allows you to print your photos wherever you choose, as big as you like, and make as many copies as you need.

Let’s chat over a phone call or via email and set up a date that would work best for your session. I always suggest that newborn sessions are tentatively scheduled within 2 weeks of your due date. Once the little one arrives, we can firm up a date on the calendar that works best.

No worries - I have you covered. I will send you an outline of suggestions for your session. I am happy to send over Pinterest board ideas as well! I have you covered!

I will send over a simple contract that outlines all that is included with your session. You can make a small deposit online and the remainder is due on the scheduled session date.

I include traveling up to 20 miles one way from the Lancaster PA area. A small travel fee is added beyond that - but we will be sure to chat about it first!

Family Portrait Sessions as well as Maternity Sessions will be delivered back to you within 14 days.
Newborn Sessions will be delivered back with 10 days of the session.
